Lying and manipulation seem to be the norm in our society today especially when we look to our leaders and what makes the news on a daily basis.

The authority of this command is direct from God to be implemented among the population to enforce its observance so that society will not violate this law.

If I only knew, would I be making plans ten years from now? One year from now? Tomorrow? Would God be in my plans? Do I center my life around God and his will or my will and what life brings me?

King Hezekiah saw that Sennacherib was ready to make war upon Jerusalem as said in 2 Chronicles 32, so Hezekiah consulted with his officials & military staff and they blocked off water from outside the city and the stream that flowed thru the land in hopes of deterring Sennacherib.
