King Hezekiah saw that Sennacherib was ready to make war upon Jerusalem as said in 2 Chronicles 32, so Hezekiah consulted with his officials & military staff and they blocked off water from outside the city and the stream that flowed thru the land in hopes of deterring Sennacherib.
Before we get into Hezekiah and Sennacherib, I want to provide you with some thoughts on Trump’s tariffs. If you think, the tariffs are good, then look at your pocketbook. Look at who is paying for the tariffs and then look at who is benefitting.

As for the first human minister in the Bible, we are introduced to Aaron, brother of Moses and a Levite as shown in Exodus 4:14. Aaron was also a prophet as shown in Exodus 7:1, so Aaron wore many hats in the exodus of Egypt.
The Bible shows us that women in the Bible assumed various duties which included being a judge, prophetess, military leader, wife, midwife, queen and influencers, but being a minister or pastor is never mentioned.
No matter what side of the fence you are on of the issue of the bombing of Iran, our president of this republic of the USA needs our prayers so that he does the will of God.
Notice the following, Uzzah reached out his hand to steady the ark because the oxen stumbled and the Lord’s anger burned against Uzzah and the Lord struck down Uzzah because he had put his hand on the ark.
I believe God is saying to glorify him in our daily life and to give thanks for all that he has done for us. Do you give thanks when having a meal? Do you glorify God daily? David has given us a prayer and God has given us the model. Will you put it to practice?
This lesson is just the opposite where God wants to get our attention and various ways he uses to get our attention.
Servant leaders lead by example and not by words for they are those of action who say little and get the job done. In essence they, they tell the world what they did after they did it and with little fanfare or credit.
I think you will agree that if we were under God’s laws and not those of man that our world would be ideal. God has addressed every issue in his laws with a solution that makes sense and could and should be used by all.
