Go Up To The Land of Unwalled Villages
Good day to each of you reading this column on the land of unwalled villages and the thought of hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants entering our Israelite lands.
Before we begin the column, my wife sent me the following column to share with everyone.
“We called them “service stations”; no other name seemed to fit. And although they were gas stations, the service was exemplary. At the pump island the hose stretched to our car’s gas tank. I acquaint the smell of gasoline with those blue paper towels the attendants used. At a young age I developed a fascination for those towels, somehow believing that that exotic scent of gasoline came from them. I loved everything about the gas station; I loved how the attendants squee-geed the windows to wash away summer dust and bugs while gas was pumped into our car.
It was at the service stations where an ice cold dripping wet bottle of pop waited for me inside the cooler. For ten cents I retrieved my favorite bottle of pop. It never tasted better than it did from a wet bottle on a hot day. In the back seat my view was momentarily blocked as the attendant raised the hood to check the oil. On the fresh and sunny days, I heard the flapping sound of plastic multi-colored streamers dancing in the wind. During the wait I sometimes leaned my arm out the window and let my elbow embrace the side of the door. It felt hot from the scorching heat of the sun.
A ding hose sounded whenever cars pulled in. The service stations were places where I rode my bike to fill the tires with air. Our old bike pump in our garage did the trick just fine, but never left me with such a feeling of importance as when I rode in to the station. Free air, free road maps and free advice on when to get something under the hood looked at were all splendid particles of a galaxy of memories gone by. Those were the days.”

When someone says, “Stop living in the past”

I hope you enjoyed a blast from the past and all the wonderful things that we golden agers enjoyed in our past years.
Let’s turn our thoughts to the following Bible passage taken from Ezekiel 38:10-12 (KJV)
10 Thus saith the Lord God; It shall also come to pass, that at the same time shall things come into thy mind, and thou shalt think an evil thought:
11 And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates,
12 To take a spoil, and to take a prey; to turn thine hand upon the desolate places that are now inhabited, and upon the people that are gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the midst of the land.
Upon reading the above verses, the passage (verse 11) describes a country or countries that are filled with unwalled villages, that are not experiencing wars within their land, dwelling safely within their land, without walls like those in the Middle East or parts of Europe or Asia, and can move freely about the land without much interference.
The next verse (verse 12) shows immigrants coming from other lands to a country or countries to take all the wonderful things these countries offer and utilize them without any fear of being sent back to their previous country. In the mix of the immigrants coming to invade the country or countries are those who have committed crimes rather minor or serious, those who have been inflicted with diseases, those who have been imprisoned in their own country, those who manufacture or carry illegal drugs, those who have committed rape and murder.
As you examine each of the verses, does a country or any countries come to mind? My belief is that we, in America, are seeing the pouring of the masses coming from Mexico directly into the southern borders of the United States.
Isn’t it so interesting that thru social outlets and cell phones that immigrants from all over the world are entering our country and we must learn via social media on how they were entering?
I saw the following on CBS 60 Minutes and followed up with an article from Fox News:
Chinese migrants say they use TikTok to find gap in US border fence as apprehensions explode

Chinese immigrants are flocking to the U.S. in record numbers, with government data indicating a surge of nationals being apprehended at the southwest border.
Those Chinese nationals have permeated the southern border by utilizing tools and instructions they have found through TikTok, CBS’ “60 Minutes” found.
“60 Minutes” met some of the Chinese migrants coming through the southern border in a segment that aired over the weekend, where many said they have been able to make it into the United States by following explicit directions posted on TikTok. They were reportedly given instructions on how to get a smuggler’s help to enter the country through a border wall gap.
Chinese migrants are the fastest growing group trying to come to the United States, according to CBP. Many are flying to Ecuador, where they don’t need a visa, and making their trek through Latin America before reaching the U.S. southern border.
“This really hasn’t happened before, at least in these large numbers,” Rosas said. “We’re not even talking about people from Asia. But we just had that recent report where an al-Shabab terrorist didn’t even avoid Border Patrol. He turned himself in, he was processed and released, and was in the country for over a year before the U.S. government realized their mistake.”
Regardless, Rosas warned the porous southern border could facilitate an opportunity for American adversaries to “exploit” U.S. interests.
“It’s what we’ve been seeing for the past few years now, and the fact that there’s no fear, the fact that we have Border Patrol essentially trying to hide from illegal immigrants and illegal immigrants are the ones trying to find Border Patrol, that just shows how crazy things have become under this administration,” Rosas said.
“It’s not even central or even South Americans anymore. It’s people from all over the world and people coming from, let’s face it, adversarial countries who may want to do us harm and may want to exploit us through this weak point,” he continued.
Field reporter Julio Rosas and “Confucius Never Said” author Helen Raleigh discussed what has motivated Chinese immigrants to come to the U.S. in the first place and how the surge of asylum seekers has impacted national security during “Fox & Friends.”
Yes, the Chinese illegal immigrants are using the platform Douyin—the Chinese version of TikTok—to get directions, find instructions on how where to reach the gap in the border wall and establish contact with alleged smugglers.
The United States of America is being ravaged by illegal immigrants and our public officials are doing absolutely nothing.
Fellow Christian, when will we stand to take our country back? Do you not see that these illegal immigrants will desolate our land and we will stand by doing absolutely nothing.
The book of Ezekiel references that the cities will become desolate—
Ezekiel 6:6 (KJV) In all your dwelling places the cities shall be laid waste, and the high places shall be desolate; that your altars may be laid waste and made desolate, and your idols may be broken and cease, and your images may be cut down, and your works may be abolished.
Ezekiel 12:19-20 (KJV) 19 And say unto the people of the land, Thus saith the Lord God of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and of the land of Israel; They shall eat their bread with carefulness, and drink their water with astonishment, that her land may be desolate from all that is therein, because of the violence of all them that dwell therein.
20 And the cities that are inhabited shall be laid waste, and the land shall be desolate; and ye shall know that I am the Lord.
- And the cities that are inhabited shall be laid waste, and the land shall be desolate; and ye shall know that I am the LORD. World English Bible The cities that are inhabited will be laid waste, and the land will be a desolation. Then you will know that I am Yahweh.”’” Young’s Literal Translation
Take a moment and examine verse 12: To take a spoil, and to take a prey; to turn thine hand upon the desolate places that are now inhabited, and upon the people that are gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the midst of the land.
Who is taking the spoil by not paying taxes, learning the English language, spreading diseases, using our medical facilities without charge to name a few benefits. Are we not the prey? To those who do pay taxes, who go to school, pay their bills including the hospital.
Take a good look at the sanctuary cities—Map: Sanctuary Cities, Counties, and States—Updated December 22, 2023.
California—San Diego, Los Angeles, San Francisco
Colorado—Boulder, Denver
Connecticut—Hartford
Washington DC
Georgia—Atlanta
Illinois—Chicago
Louisiana—New Orleans
Massachusetts—Boston
Maryland—Baltimore
Michigan—Lansing, Kalamazoo
New Jersey—Newark
New York—New York City, Albany, Ithaca
North Carolina—Charlotte, Durham
Oregon—Just about the whole state including Eugene and Springfield.
Pennsylvania—Philadelphia
Rhode Island—Providence
Virginia—Alexandria, Fairfax County
Washington—much of the state including Seattle.
I probably left out a few states, but I hope you get the idea—don’t take my word, just go to the web and look up a few of the cities to see what is happening and to their destruction.
The cities are being ravaged because they have become overrun with illegal immigrants who can not speak English and communicate. Where are they going to live, how are they going to be fed, who will care for them if they are sick, and how can they get a job?
As I begin to close, here is a quote from President Theodore Roosevelt:
“In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the person’s becoming in every facet an American, and nothing but an American…There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn’t an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag… We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language… and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people.”
In my Bible study, I came across a very wonderful verse that fits America today—Proverbs 28:2 (NIV)
When a country is rebellious, it has many rulers, but a ruler with discernment and knowledge maintains order.
So very true in today’s society—May we look to the skies to see Jesus for He is our only hope. Come ever so quickly, Lord Jesus.
