The Winds Of War

Trouble is brewing to the point of war as I write. A powder keg with a lit fuse where two super powers sit and the result, the loss of many lives, destruction of property and the word “control”.

Russia prepares to attack the Ukraine and President Biden continues to “poke the bear” by poking at Vladimir Putin. Why? Why not let the Russians attack the Ukraine people and keep US troops out of the Ukraine.

Why be involved in a war that could incite World War III? Why send millions of dollars that the American people do not have to financially assist in a war that is not theirs? Why does the American politicians want to involve our country where “our noses do not belong?”

Simply put, it all comes down to economics—wars are always based on economics and control. There are those that call it sanctions, but the word economy or economic comes into play.

According to the N.Y. Post. 2/10/22 — Biden has threatened “severe” sanctions against Russia, but horrified Ukrainian officials last month when he said at his second solo White House press conference that a “minor incursion” by Russia into Ukraine might result in less-severe penalties — with one Ukrainian official saying that the remark could give Putin a “green light” to invade.

Biden this week threatened to penalize Russia by blocking operation of the Nord Stream 2 natural gas pipeline, which is poised to begin piping fuel directly to Germany rather than through Ukraine.

“If Russia invades — that means tanks or troops crossing the border of Ukraine, again — then there will be no longer a Nord Stream 2,” Biden said.

There you have it—by blocking operation of the Nord Stream 2 natural gas pipeline—go back to February 7 where President Biden vowed Monday in a joint news conference with Germany’s chancellor to “bring an end to” the Nord Stream 2 pipeline if Russia invades Ukraine.

Biden promised to prevent fuel from flowing directly from Russia to Germany through the newly constructed Baltic Sea pipeline just moments before Chancellor Olaf Scholz gave a unified but noticeably less enthusiastic nod to the idea.

“If Russia invades — that means tanks or troops crossing the border of Ukraine, again — then there will be no longer a Nord Stream 2,” the president said in the White House East Room.

“We will bring an end to it.”

So how will they bring it to an end and how will they prevent fuel from flowing? How will the shutoff of natural gas effect the German people and the German businesses? Will this shutoff effect any other NATO allies?

As we all have seen, the Russian and Chinese president have a close relationship and the prospect of an invasion would happen after the Olympics have been completed. Why? Due to respect and not trying to steal the headlines for the Chinese Olympics.

Let’s turn to the Asian theatre where China has feasted its eyes upon Taiwan—Just like a “crouching tiger” Taiwan will be the most logical country for China to take over. Just like Russia, who will reel in those republics who left last century, China will regain various countries in the Pacific.

Biblically, God is always in control and the unraveling Israelite nations have begun to show our enemies that our nations are very weak and very vulnerable.

NATO is plastic and in name only—Russia and China know this and they are exploiting every weakness that they can to dismantle NATO. It is very hard to win at anything when the odds are two against one especially when the two together match your one.

Here is a perspective that I just read from Thy Kingdom Come 3/2022, a Sanger/Schmitt article in the New York Times began with some chilling words, “The Biden administration and its allies are assembling a punishing set of financial, technology and military sanctions against Russia that they say would go into effect within hours of an invasion of Ukraine, hoping to make clear to President Vladimir V. Putin the high cost he would pay if he sends troops across the border”.

The editor of Thy Kingdom Come brings forth an excellent point–Think about this! If they are implemented, it could have the effect of bringing Russia to its knees, including hardship for every Russian family. Could you imagine the anger and likely threats this could invoke and the fear amongst Putin’s inner circle of a possible revolution in Russia?

Folks, the game of chess has begun and you and I are the pawns awaiting the next move to see if one country backs down or calls the other country’s bluff?

This is a deadly game to be played as the world awaits the Russian president’s next move. Make no mistake, this man is cold and calculating for he is determined to re-unite the republics under “One Russia”.

So, here’s the big question—will Vladimir Putin stop at the Ukraine or will his quest for conquer include Canada and the USA? Will he think that this is “the perfect time” for America and Canada as are vulnerable from so many economic internal problems and a collective armed forces spread throughout the globe?

Please think about the above scenario very strongly – Why? Because the Bible says so and this will come, so take heart and remember 2 Chronicles 7:14—Keep it close to your heart and your mind.
