How would you like to be 28 trillion dollars in debt and zero savings? Guess what? We Americans are all in that boat as we all share a 28 trillion debt and our government has zero savings and a zero-emergency fund.

We have just finished the tumultuous 2008 year with one failure after the next and yet we survived. I must re=phrase that we survived physically but financially, many of us watched our life savings crumble or even wiped out with no lifeline.

What would 2008 usher in and how would the Federal Government and Federal Reserve react to the foreclosures? Would the housing market return and would the stock market become a “bear” market?

Who picks up the pieces when a recession occurs? Simple, all Americans are affected greatly and we begin to rebuild again but how many times must we go thru this lesson and why do we allow those chosen to lead us, lead us astray?

If you remember back in 1929, where was the Federal Reserve during this time? They were nowhere to be found for they showed their reluctance not to increase the money supply thus causing a money shortage.

Folks, I am not making this information up, please be aware of what is happening in our country and take the necessary precautions so it does not happen to you.

The more we know about what our forefathers did in the past, the greater the confidence we have about what we would do in the future.

Were the American people separated from God by sin? Yes, but no matter how far we wandered, God never wavers and promises a fresh beginning if we would make the effort to turn to him. God’s mercy is simply, unbelievable!

But instead of the bad apples, it was largely smaller banks that ended up going under. By 1933, 11,000 of them had failed, wiping out the savings of millions.
