Ministers & Pastors – Part 2
Good day to each of you reading this column on ministers and pastors for I wish to take up from part one and the addition of female pastors.
By the way, America just had its 224th Independence Day and our family is so blessed to live in this great nation. Only by the grace of God do we live in a nation where we can express our thoughts, read our Bible, go to church, speak freely about our Savior and honor those who gave so much for the cost of freedom. Do you think you can do that in Socialist or Communist nations without losing your life?
On that note, it’s time for some humor from https://godslittleacre.net/funnies/.

Don’t you just love these answers from kids—So precious, so honest and so funny—Hope it brightens your day.
Now to the subject of pastors and ministers—Have you read ministers who wear 5,000.00 sneakers, fly in private jets paid by the congregation and ministers making 250k plus per year?
I would think the salary has to do with the size of the church, but one has to wonder on whether He is leading his sheep or is in it for the money.
It is so interesting when reading the book, Shepards for Sale by Megan Basham of how Satan infiltrates the Christian church and waters down the Bible.
Megan tackles the following issues that most pastors avoid such as climate change, illegal immigration, pro-life vs abortion, critical race, LGBTQ in the church, and the MeToo, #ChurchToo movement.
The Bible talks about all of the above issues and yet, all so many ministers steer around these issues so not to insult or hurt anyone’s feelings.
Folks, we have false prophets in many of the churches today and this is why there is a falling away from the church. Look no further than Micah 2:11 (NIV) If a liar and deceiver comes and says, ‘I will prophesy for you plenty of wine and beer, he would be just the prophet for this people!
Per the commentary, the people liked the false prophets who told them only what they wanted to hear. Micah spoke against prophets who encouraged the people to feel comfortable in their sin. Preachers are popular when they don’t ask too much of us and when they tell us our greed or lust might even good for us.
Fellow Christian, are in a church that is Bible Based, believes in the Trinity, teaches every jot and tittle of the Bible, and prepares you on Christ’s kingdom when he returns.
The church is under attack for Satan knows his time is short and he will do all he can to disrupt Christians. Pastors must be sheep leaders and must break their silence when preaching.
Here is where intestinal fortitude, stepping on toes, and actually teaching both the milk and meat of the word to the congregation.
The Bible has paved the way to tackle all subjects of life, but the Bible must not gather dust or placed on a shelf for it must be read daily.
Are you in a politically correct church? Does your sect believe in what is wrong is right? Is your pastor silent from the pulpit when it comes to sensitive issues that face the congregation? Is your church that you attend so politically correct thus becoming Biblically incorrect?
These are questions that need to be answered or you need to find a church that teaches the word of God from the beginning to the end.
I recently read an article in the Thy Kingdom Come pamphlet – July 2025 by Bob Vermaat on Listen to the Silence. Bob goes into detail on the false prophets who have infiltrated the church with their “feel good”, anything goes, watered down sermons.
Let’s take a deeper look in scripture about the false prophets or pastors who are not feeding their sheep. Remember that Jesus speaks about the “sheep” as we are the sheep and He is the shepherd.
Matthew 7:15 (NIV) says 15 “Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves.
Matthew 24:23-24 (NIV) says 23 At that time if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Messiah!’ or, ‘There he is!’ do not believe it. 24 For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.
Great signs and wonders in the church—is this your church? Are you being fooled by the teachings from your pastor? Does your pastor provide you with sound Biblical teachings? When you leave the sanctuary, are you filled with the Holy Spirit?
2 John 1:7-11 (NIV) says 7 I say this because many deceivers, who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh, have gone out into the world. Any such person is the deceiver and the antichrist. 8 Watch out that you do not lose what we[a] have worked for, but that you may be rewarded fully. 9 Anyone who runs ahead and does not continue in the teaching of Christ does not have God; whoever continues in the teaching has both the Father and the Son. 10 If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not take them into your house or welcome them. 11 Anyone who welcomes them shares in their wicked work.
Deceivers, false teachers, false prophets and pastors who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ are antichrists. These people are wolves in sheep’s clothing who practice to deceive.
If you don’t believe me, look at the many false religions in the world such as Islam, Hindu, Buddhism, Shintoism, Taoism, Sikhism, Atheism, Agnostic, Wicca, Scientology, Bahai Faith, Voodoo, Confucianism, folk religions who are all looking for the one perfect religion.
Do you hear pastors in the pulpit speaking against the above religions and calling them false religions? What has happened to the Ten Commandments and is this not violating the First Commandment?
Pastors with backbone teach the Bible, the whole Bible and leave nothing out for the Bible addresses every issue of life.
Read the parable of the wheat and the tares found in Matthew 13:24-30 and as you read this parable, notice who the tares are and how they intertwined with the wheat. If you are in a church, where your minister is a tare and teaching unfounded and sinful doctrine, then you best get out.
Why? Turn to 2 Timothy 4:3-4 (NIV) 3 For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. 4 They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.
Fellow Christian, we are in that period where people in the church will not put up with sound doctrine. The pastor feeds them “fluff” and the congregation believes for they can not distinguish right from wrong.
In closing, do you go to a politically correct church with a feel-good pastor who doesn’t wish to rock the boat or tackle God’s laws because he feels they are out of date.
Here is my challenge to you who have read my columns on where various churches stand on LGBTQ matters, abortion, the death penalty which is the Laodicean Period—part 2—Would you confront your minister on the above issues?
The day has come, the stand is now, so be prepared because all men will hate you because of me, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved. Mark 13:13—Will you stand firm to the end or will you turn away from the truth?
