But, if you do wrong, fear; for it carries not the sword in vain; because it is a servant of God, showing displeasure to those who do ill. Therefore it is necessary to obey; not only because of its displeasure, but for the sake of conscience.
Here’s a question—Have your read your Bible daily? Do you begin reading in the daytime, mid-day or nightly or all three times of the day? I read a chapter each morning to get my day started and I am enlightened by each word that was written.
As a Christian, we need to be fed daily by God’s word and it is a pleasure to read his word and receive enlightenment and to be molded into him image. Folks, if you need a role model, and I am talking to adults and children, what better role model that Jesus Christ.
I think you will agree that if we were under God’s laws and not those of man that our world would be ideal. God has addressed every issue in his laws with a solution that makes sense and could and should be used by all.
