Isn’t it so interesting that we make promises that we can’t keep? Here are a few that we have heard in the past such as I promise no new taxes, I promise to stamp out global warming, I promise to provide free education and I promise that no child will hunger.
Should we be under the gold standard? Biblically NO! Do you remember the three young Hebrews (Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego) who defied the King of Babylon and would not fall down and worship the gold statute nor consent to the Babylon gold system.
Exciting News to each of you reading this column—There is no “What if” but when our Saviour comes to receive his kingdom here on earth. Make no mistake that Jesus is coming to establish his kingdom but to receive his kingdom.

Here’s a question—Have your read your Bible daily? Do you begin reading in the daytime, mid-day or nightly or all three times of the day? I read a chapter each morning to get my day started and I am enlightened by each word that was written.
I think you will agree that if we were under God’s laws and not those of man that our world would be ideal. God has addressed every issue in his laws with a solution that makes sense and could and should be used by all.
