The Middle East War – Part 3
Wow! Part 2 is done and I am on a roll! Praise the Lord!
I do enjoy writing these and I do hope this enlightens you.
These lessons are to inspire you in reading the word of God each day—You eat and drink each day and you get physically satisfied?
Is that not, correct? Why not read a chapter of the Bible each day to get your spiritual diet in order? He gives you 24 hours each day and the things you find when you read are truly amazing.
I like going to church and listening to the preacher, but we don’t always agree and this is not to debate, but to enlighten and challenge him in the spirit of the word of God. None of us are perfect and we must sharpen our minds and put on the armor of God for it says in Ephesians 6:10-18 (NIV),
10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.
It’s time for some more humor—Hope you enjoy and share—
Arguing with your partner is like trying to read the “Terms of Use” on the internet. Eventually, you give up and say, “I agree.”
Wife: Let’s go out and have fun tonight!
Husband: Okay but, if you get back before me, leave the light on.
I play the world’s most dangerous sport.
I disagree with my wife.
I asked my wife which she liked better, my face or my body?
She said, “Your sense of humor.”
And last,
Marrying someone for their good looks is like buying a house for the paint color.
I do hope you enjoy this bit of humor—good stuff from The Dad.
Part 3 begins with identifying the enemies of Israel.
Did you know the Bible tells us who the enemies are and where they can be found?
Here is another piece to the puzzle of the enemies against Israel, turn to Psalm 83: 1-8 (NIV) to get the full meaning of the enemies of Israel.
O God, do not remain silent;
do not turn a deaf ear,
do not stand aloof, O God.
2 See how your enemies growl,
how your foes rear their heads.
3 With cunning they conspire against your people;
they plot against those you cherish.
4 “Come,” they say, “let us destroy them as a nation,
so that Israel’s name is remembered no more.”
5 With one mind they plot together;
they form an alliance against you—
6 the tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites,
of Moab and the Hagrites,
7 Byblos, Ammon and Amalek,
Philistia, with the people of Tyre.
8 Even Assyria has joined them
to reinforce Lot’s descendants.
he NIV version says that Psalm 83 is a song. A psalm pf Asaph and the theme is combatting God’s enemies. This psalm is a prayer for God to do whatever it takes to convince the world that he is indeed God. Someday all will recognize and admit that God is in charge.
Where are the nations against Israel located in today’s world?
According to Brittanica and Wikipedia,
Edom, is an ancient land bordering ancient Israel, in what is now southwestern Jordan, between the Dead Sea and the Gulf of Aqaba. The Edomites probably occupied the area about the 13th century bce.
What tribes came from Ishmael?

Is Muhammad a descendant of Ishmael?
Ishmael is recognized by Muslims as the ancestor of several northern prominent Arab tribes and the forefather of Adnan, the ancestor of Muhammad. Muslims also believe that Muhammad was the descendant of Ishmael who would establish a great nation. Courtesy of Wikipedia
Who are the descendants of the Moabites today?
Moab was conquered by the Babylonians in 583 BC, from which point we do not find records of them. The Moab land is now known as the country of Jordan, though the modern-day Jordanians share no similarities to the Moabites as the majority of the people living in Jordan are Muslim. The Hagrites (also spelled Hagarite or Hagerite, and called Hagarenes, Agarenes, and sons of Agar) were associated with the Ishmaelites mentioned in the Hebrew Bible, the inhabitants of the regions of Jetur, Naphish and Nodab lying east of Gilead.
What nation is Gebal today?
Byblos, modern Jbail, also spelled Jubayl or Jebeil, biblical Gebal, ancient seaport, the site of which is located on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea about 20 miles (30 km) north of the modern city of Beirut, Lebanon. It is one of the oldest continuously inhabited towns in the world.

The Bible presents the Amalekites as living in the Negev area, now in modern Israel. While the Amalekite nation no longer exists, the memory of a devious enemy lives on in all forms of antisemitism carried out against Jewish people.
Today, the Philistine people do not have their own country. The area in which they used to inhabit is what is now Israel and the Palestinian Gaza Strip. It is also worth noting that the name Palestine comes from the Romans, who renamed the area “Palestinia” in order to humiliate the Jews.
Lebanon
What country is Tyre in today? Tyre is located in the Middle Eastern country of Lebanon. It is in the southwestern part of the country on the Mediterranean coast. It is one of the world’s oldest inhabited cities and is Lebanon’s fourth most populous city.

If you are wondering where Iran fits into all of this, let’s see what Bible country is Iran today?
Iran
Iran has rich Biblical heritage. Iran, or Persia, is mentioned many times in the Bible, and features as a key component of God’s plans for His people. In the Old Testament, the stories of Esther, Ezra, Nehemiah and Daniel came from the Persian Empire.
Do you see any similarities in the nations above? It is of great interest that Edom and Esau have begun to rear their ugly heads.
I wish to explore the importance of Esau and Edom in relation to the Middle East and the part they have played against Israel since Esau was of age. It is very important to tie Ishmael in with Muhammad for Wikipedia says that the Muslims believe that Muhammad was the descendant of Ishmael who would establish a great nation.
Part four is going to tackle who, what, where and why there is an ambition to create and continually stir up strife and war between Israel and the countries that surround Israel.
The writer will identify the source and the players who are the puppeteers of war in Israel.
As I close, Part 3 is ready to be published and take heed for the Bible says in John 14:1: (KJV) Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
Yes, trouble is all around, but fear not, I am with you always!
