You cannot bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift. You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong. You cannot help the wage earner by pulling down the wage payer. You cannot further the brotherhood of man by encouraging class hatred.
Wouldn’t you agree that before 1913, the USA was a prosperous, powerful and growing industrial nation along with being at peace with other countries and the melting pot for those leaving other countries to become American citizens.
Abundance is having food to eat, heat in your home, shelter, transportation, drinking water, a working mind and most of all, salvation in knowing that Jesus paid for your sins—and that you are saved from death and reunited with Jesus eternally.
Is this the sign of the times? COVID-19, coin shortage, and banks not lending money for housing. Nervous about the economy, yes, most definitely as we see signs of the great depression of 1929 in the USA.
Since we are under man’s system of accountability or lack of then one can see that the money spent is going into a deep dark hole with no accountability. When I ask teachers what they would do to fix the problem of accountability, the answer is that our politicians and those who make the laws should be held accountable.
God has set forth before his people what is required of them in their relationship to Him and their fellow man. The choice is simple: covetousness, greed, and lust is the foundation of evil desires and peace, contentment, and gladness is the foundation for freedom from strife.
Don’t you see that whatever enters the mouth goes into the stomach and then out of the body? But the things that come out of the mouth come from the heart, and these things make a man unclean. For out of the heart comes evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander.
Condemnation under this law is passed upon a wide variety of activities in our modern business and financial life. Every phase of human activity that undertakes to secure something for nothing when such acquisition is a loss to others is stealing. Withholding the tithe is stealing from God, according to Malachi 3:8.
Don’t you see that this the perfect way to destroy the family tradition of gathering together to have an actual Thanksgiving Day. Let’s put retail first, stores first, shopping first and get a jump on Christmas—is this the level that we have taken our society to in these times?
You shall sow your fields for six years, and prune your vineyards for six years, and then cease to go to them; and in the seventh year there shall be a Rest of Rests for the land to EVER-LIVING. You shall not sow your fields, nor prune your vineyards. You shall not reap the self-grown harvest, not cut off the bunches from your vine. It is a Rest of Rests for the earth.
I think you will agree that if we were under God’s laws and not those of man that our world would be ideal. God has addressed every issue in his laws with a solution that makes sense and could and should be used by all.
