The Middle East War – Part 2
Greetings to each of you reading part 2 as we begin to establish who the Israelites, the Palestinians and Jews are in Israel.
I wanted to establish how everyone got there and the significance of the Bible as it relates to each of the above.
Please understand that I am not someone who hates the Jewish people, or the Muslims, the Hezbollah’s or Hamas for they were, in fact also created by God and we are to pray that they will see that there is only one God, one Jesus Christ and that John 14:6 sums up the difference between an Israelite and other faiths: 6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
First, some humor please, we need a good laugh courtesy of The Dad:
My husband and I have agreed to never go to bed angry with each other.
So far, we’ve been up for three days.
My boyfriend and I met on the internet and my mother asked him what line he used to get me.
He said, “I just used a modem.”
At every party, there are two kinds of people: those who want to go home, and those who don’t. The trouble is they’re usually married to each other.
I saw my wife putting on her sexy underwear this morning. This can only mean one thing.
It’s laundry day.
And, when my wife and I argue, I always get the last word.
They’re usually, “I’m sorry. You’re right.”
I do hope you enjoy this bit of humor—good stuff from the website above.
Part one is done so let’s dig into part 2 and dig deeper into what the Bible says about Israel and those who are involved in this war.
After completing part one, my wife asked me to add a few more comments and explanations about the differences between the Israelites and Jews. She asked the question if the Jews are the chosen people as fellow Christians have been told & believe, then as Christians why aren’t we converting to be a Jew or Judaism?
Good question, so why do we have Baptists, Methodists, Lutherans, Episcopalians, Presbyterians and other Christian sects and why haven’t they converted to be a part of God’s chosen people or the Jews?
My wife says it so well for here is a similar example, all South Carolinians are Americans, but all Americans are not South Carolinians.
This sample example applies to all Jews are from Israel, but all Israelites are not necessarily a Jew.
Let’s look at what the New Testament says about the Hebrew, Israelite and Jew?
Turn to John 1:47 (NIV),
47 When Jesus saw Nathaniel approaching, he said of him, “Here truly is an Israelite in whom there is no deceit.”
Using the same verse where Ferrar Fenton says, Jesus seeing Nathaniel coming towards Him, remarked about him: “here is an Israelite indeed, in whom there is no duplicity.”
I believe that Jesus is saying that Nathaniel was an Israelite and not a Jew for Nathaniel declared in verse 49,
49 Then Nathaniel declared, “Rabbi, you are the Son of God; you are the king of Israel.” Re-read John 14:6 for the Jewish religion does not believe nor accepts that Jesus is the Son of God.
Now turn to Romans 9:3-8 (NIV),
3 For I could wish that I myself were cursed and cut off from Christ for the sake of my people, those of my own race, 4 the people of Israel. Theirs is the adoption to sonship; theirs the divine glory, the covenants, the receiving of the law, the temple worship and the promises. 5 Theirs are the patriarchs, and from them is traced the human ancestry of the Messiah, who is God over all, forever praised! Amen.
6 It is not as though God’s word had failed. For not all who are descended from Israel are Israel. 7 Nor because they are his descendants are they all Abraham’s children. On the contrary, “It is through Isaac that your offspring will be reckoned.” 8 In other words, it is not the children by physical descent who are God’s children, but it is the children of the promise who are regarded as Abraham’s offspring.
Paul says that not all who are descended from Israel are Israel as we have the Sadducees, Pharisees, the Jewish people and those from other countries who worship foreign idols.
Paul finishes with Abraham’s offspring who are from Abraham or Abram (his birth name) and were called a Hebrew for he was a Hebrew (Genesis 14:13). This would mean that since Abraham begat Issac and Issac begat Jacob that they were also Hebrew.
It is interesting to note that in Matthew 1:1-2 (NIV)
This is the genealogy of Jesus the Messiah the son of David, the son of Abraham:
2 Abraham was the father of Isaac,
Isaac the father of Jacob,
Jacob the father of Judah and his brothers,
For those who say Jesus was a “JEW” are 100% wrong, for the genealogy is the proof.
Further proof on the subject is John 14:6-7 (NIV),
6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. 7 If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.”
Jesus answers the critics above who do not believe in him nor will they come to the Father except through Jesus. When reading the New Testament, ask yourself who the scoffers were? The answer is very simple when you read the New Testament and identify who rejected Jesus.
Paul again reiterates that he is an Israelite in Romans 11:1 (NIV) I ask then: Did God reject his people? By no means! I am an Israelite myself, a descendant of Abraham, from the tribe of Benjamin.
Did Paul say the Jewish people? No, he said the Israelite people who believe John 14:6 for Paul knew his heritage.
As a 3rd witness, Paul says in 2 Corinthians 11:22 (NIV),
21 To my shame I admit that we were too weak for that!
Whatever anyone else dares to boast about—I am speaking as a fool—I also dare to boast about. 22 Are they Hebrews? So am I. Are they Israelites? So am I. Are they Abraham’s descendants? So am I. 23 Are they servants of Christ? (I am out of my mind to talk like this.) I am more. I have worked much harder, been in prison more frequently, been flogged more severely, and been exposed to death again and again.
All thru the book of Romans, Paul writes about the Jew and Gentile and does not mention the Hebrew or Israelite? Why? Paul shows that God created all people and that He offers salvation to all, not just the Israelite or Hebrew. Paul knows that the Sadducees, Pharisees, Jews, and Gentiles were embedded in the Old Testament law and circumcision, thus rejecting Jesus Christ as the Savior.
Paul says in Romans 3:21-26 (NIV),
21 But now apart from the law the righteousness of God has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify. 22 This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference between Jew and Gentile, 23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. 25 God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of his blood—to be received by faith. He did this to demonstrate his righteousness, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished— 26 he did it to demonstrate his righteousness at the present time, so as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith in Jesus.
Verse 24-26 answers the question of anyone who rejects Jesus Christ or accept that Jesus is 3 in 1—the way, the truth, the life and those who believe only in God will not be saved.
The difference between an Israelite and a Jew is that I believe 100% in John 14:6 and that we have death through Adam and life through Jesus Christ. Jesus says “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
It is my prayer to pray for all Israelites whether they be in Israel, the USA, China or wherever and for the Jewish folks to have their eyes open and ears to listen and accept that Jesus is the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
Fellow Christian, Fellow Israelite, fellow Countrymen, here is the advice given to me: 2 Chronicles 7:14 (KJV) If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
Don’t you think it is time to follow the prayer above where we have evil portrayed as good and good portrayed as evil?
Let us pray for our fellow brothers and sisters as well as for our enemies and those associated with religions that go against the word of the Bible.
Part 2 is ready to be published and take heed for the Bible says in John 14:1: (KJV) Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
Yes, trouble is all around, but fear not, I am with you always!
