Man’s Plan, False Prophets and God’s Plans
Good day to each of you reading this timely column on man’s plans, false prophets and God’s plans.
I have read this chapter many times as I am moved on how timely this fits each of us in our daily walk with God.
Before I get into the above subject, I ask you to pray for our officials in office regardless of whether you like them or agree with them or not—Why because the Bible tells us so and our voting system has put them in office.
But, as I turn back the pages of time, I can remember when the President of the United States was held as the highest in regard to politics. We use to gather around the television to hear what he was going to say and what he said was the law of the land.
Politicians back then were men and women who respected the office that they ran on and worked for the people who elected them.
Now we have the sentiment that voting is a waste of time and that our vote means absolutely nothing. Our politicians are just that, politicians who are trying to get your vote legally or illegally so they can make their office elected as a means for a lifetime job.
The American Press is as divided as the Mason-Dixon line, yet they have the power (or so they think) that they can sway our vote, our opinion, our very thoughts on issues.
Just my thoughts as we inch closer to the mid-term elections.
So, what does this have to do with our topic?
Please turn to Micah 2:1-11—(NIV)
1 Woe to those who plan iniquity,
to those who plot evil on their beds!
At morning’s light they carry it out
because it is in their power to do it.2 They covet fields and seize them,
and houses, and take them.
They defraud people of their homes,
they rob them of their inheritance.3 Therefore, the Lord says:
“I am planning disaster against this people,
from which you cannot save yourselves.
You will no longer walk proudly,
for it will be a time of calamity.4 In that day people will ridicule you;
they will taunt you with this mournful song:
‘We are utterly ruined;
my people’s possession is divided up.
He takes it from me!
He assigns our fields to traitors.’”5 Therefore you will have no one in the assembly of the Lord
to divide the land by lot.
False Prophets
6 “Do not prophesy,” their prophets say.
“Do not prophesy about these things;
disgrace will not overtake us.”7 You descendants of Jacob, should it be said,
“Does the Lord become[a] impatient?
Does he do such things?”“Do not my words do good
to the one whose ways are upright?8 Lately my people have risen up
like an enemy.
You strip off the rich robe
from those who pass by without a care,
like men returning from battle.9 You drive the women of my people
from their pleasant homes.
You take away my blessing
from their children forever.10 Get up, go away!
For this is not your resting place,
because it is defiled,
it is ruined, beyond all remedy.11 If a liar and deceiver comes and says,
‘I will prophesy for you plenty of wine and beer,’
that would be just the prophet for this people!
Iniquity is not just a word in our society but a way of life for those who are planning evil crimes while knowing when they are caught, then will get out that evening to commit again.
Here, in the USA, crime is out of control in the form of stealing, robbing stores, murder, committing cybercrimes, and usury to our fellow Christians.

Why China Owning US Land Is Bigger Deal Than You Might Think

“The problem is … they’re just not trying to take us over militarily. They’re trying to also get real, real involved economically in our country,” Sen. Tommy Tuberville, R-Ala., said in an interview Tuesday with The Daily Signal. “Over the last decade, China has increased the amount of farmland purchases by about an astronomical amount.”
The Chinese Communist Party has purchased hundreds of thousands of acres of U.S. land since 2010. It acquired 352,140 acres of U.S. land through the end of 2020, a report by The Heritage Foundation said. (The Daily Signal is the news outlet of The Heritage Foundation.)
Tuberville, who recently introduced the “Securing America’s Land from Foreign Interference Act” with Sen. Tom Cotton, R-Ark., called for an end to China’s ability to purchase U.S. land because it poses a national security threat.
Recently, the Chinese company Fufeng Group purchased farmland just 12 miles from the Grand Forks Air Force Base in North Dakota. Tuberville, who labeled China as the top adversary of the U.S., expressed concern over that purchase, as well as about the Chinese government “getting involved in financial institutions and some of our manufacturing, where we know that they steal as much intellectual property as they possibly can.”
The above article fits verses 1 & 2 to a tee as we watch our farmland being sold to China and one purchase of land near the Grand Forks Air Force Base.

There are many of us Christians who have been blessed from hardship which includes falling behind on our bills in these inflationary times, but we know of others either in our family or friends who are experiencing monetary hardships.
Again, we have those investors who are taking full advantage of the times that we are in and each situation must be handled differently, but eviction of someone that is hit with an enormous rate increase is just plain wrong!
The USA has land monopolizers who covet farmland, fields, houses and even one’s inheritance. The middle class, which is the core of our republic, has begun helpless with the addition of more taxation and less pay while facing an economic recession and a looming depression. The middle class is the core of our nation’s strength and the thought of homelessness in their mind will reduce them to servitude and a yoke around their necks.
But, take heed you moneylenders and unscrupulous wealthy people for God will have the final say with no further part in the inheritance of the Lord as shown in verse 5.
As you begin reading verses 6-11, read very carefully and discern about those who are lying prophets who spread false preaching.
Verse 6 begins with leaders with corrupt intentions who use false prophets and cater their every cruel intention while seeking to stop the true prophet from teaching.
An example would be the Roman leaders and Pharisees as false prophets during the time that Jesus walked this earth.
As you read verses 7-11, be reminded that prophets were just as plentiful in that day as they are today and that they would spread their deceitful words to Jacob’s descendants then as we have those prophets spreading their words today in the pulpit, on cable waves and on the radio.
Fellow Christian, we must have eyes to see and ears to hear and discern the word from those who masquerade as wolves in sheep’s clothing.
Turn to 2 Timothy 4:3-5 (NIV)
For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear.
4 They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.
5 But you, keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, discharge all the duties of your ministry.
Ladies and Gentlemen, we are in that time where our people want to have feel good sermons based on only the New Testament with no mention of the Old Testament.
We have pastors who say the Old Testament is out dated and that God’s laws were meant only for that time. We have those in the church that urge the pastor not to speak against abortion, the LGBTQ ways, not to go past the 12 o’clock hour to be let out of a service, not to speak about the Ten Commandments, the pornography problem in the USA, the drug problem in the USA, the pledge of Allegiance in the schools, prayer and Bible reading in the schools and the attack on the Christian in our society.
Christian men and women who make up the majority of the USA have been put in their place and told to take a back seat to the minority or else they will be turned in to the government. The minority is running our beloved republic right into the ground.
Sadly, too many preachers, especially those of the mega churches have given in to the desires of the congregation so they will say what their congregation’s itching ears want to hear.
Fellow minister, Timothy gives you sound advice– keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, discharge all the duties of your ministry.
