The Sixth Commandment – Part 4

Good Day to each of you reading part of the Sixth Commandment. I hope this Monday finds you refreshed from the weekend and from Sunday.

By the way, how many of you enjoy your Sunday with God? Do you feel refreshed when Monday comes? Did you get the necessary rest or did you on Sunday catch up on the all the things you forgot or didn’t do on Saturday?

Our daily world is filled with yuk! We need a good a laugh daily in the world of doom and gloom—Here’s a few thoughts—Employment application blanks always ask who is to be notified in case of emergency. How about, “A Good Doctor!”—Have you seen the new movie for aarp folks? Pumping Rust, or why do they put pictures of criminals up in the Post Office? What are we suppose to do… write to these criminals? Why doesn’t the Post Office put their pictures on postage stamps so our mailmen could look for them while they are delivering the mail? Or, arrest the criminals while they are taking their pictures! And this final thought, folks seem to read the Bible a bunch more when they get older. Do you know why? They were cramming for their finals. As for me, I just hope God grades on the curve.

I went to the website on abortion and the first ad is from Bernie Sanders who says: A woman must have the right to control her own body. Add your name today if you agree. Stand with Bernie if you agree: Abortion is a constitutional right. Women must be able to control their own bodies and make their own health care decisions.

Bernie, are you saying to leave God out of the decision-making process? Doesn’t God give life and provide each breath for all of us? Are the decisions of the man or woman made with good or evil purposes? Bernie, let’s break this down, since this woman must have the right to control her own body and that woman was your mother, then she could have decided to have you or not to have you? Is this correct? If abortion is a constitutional right, then is murder also a constitutional right?

Folks, Bernie Sanders can’t have it both ways, nor can you or me—Abortion is murder, and this goes against the sixth commandment. If you use rape as a way to utilize abortion, God is way ahead of you. Rape is murder and murder are that the party who did the rape is to be tried, and, if found guilty, then death is imposed quickly.

Rape is first introduced in Genesis 19: 4—29 where young and old men wanted to have sex with the two angels who arrived in Sodom in the evening. As you read the swift outcome in verses 24-29, you will see that God does not take rape or potential rape lightly as Sodom was completely destroyed the next morning.

Take the time to read Deuteronomy 22:13-19 and the penalty for the rape of the woman is found in verses 25-27.  Whether this be, at the time of Mosaic law, or in today’s society, the law of God is still the law of God for people who believe in God. God says the person who commits the rape is to be put to death. You must purge the evil from among you and rape is evil.

In today’s society, if death was the penalty for rape and the person who committed the rape and was found undoubtedly to cause the rape, then that person would die within a day. If the penalty was carried out in a quick manner, the thought process of one raping would drop drastically knowing that the penalty would be death within a 24-hour period.

Let us follow the word of God, each and every word for it is tried and true and there are those who want to see it fail. God has thought of every circumstance, every situation and has an answer for all things. If God didn’t love his creation, he could have destroyed us and yet, he did not—He gave his son—think for a minute—Could you sacrifice your child? To save mankind—What other God has done this? Hinduism, Buddhism, Taoism, Satanism, Atheism, Agnosticism, Islam—Did these previous religions mentioned sacrifice their savior to save mankind, rise from the dead, and defeat death?

As we fast forward to the laws set before the Israelites, look closely at Leviticus 18: 1-23—These are unlawful sexual relations and with these relations comes the punishment for the unlawful sexual relations. These punishments are found in Leviticus 20: 10-21—Why? Look at verse 22-24—(FF) “thus you shall keep all my Institutions, and all My Decrees, and shall practice them, and then the land that I will bring you to as a residence will not spew you out. Thus you shall not conduct yourselves according to the customs of the heathen whom I shall drive out from before you, for they practiced all these things in their land, therefore I promised you should inherit their country and I will give to you the inheritance of that land flowing with milk and honey. I am your EVER-LIVING GOD, Who will destroy them from among the nations.

This is God’s promise to each of us and God does not falter on any promise.

Yes, there are lots of websites who are against God’s laws and they have excuses for excuses—This is what it is—An excuse or excuses for the use of self—Me or what is in the best interest for me—

Let’s break this down:

Thou shalt not murder—Period

If you do and found in the witness of two or more people or you admit to murder or rape, then you will die within a day. Would this not empty out some prison cells? Yes, taxpayer money funds prisons and those in the prisons. Would this deter crime? Yes, the person put to death would not do the crime again. If people thought they might commit that crime, would think again before acting if they knew they would die within 24 hours. If the crime was for murder, rape, or having sexual relations with animals then death would occur.

Man’s thinking today is to take God’s laws and water them down to make them fit today’s society. The Bible is the Christian standard for living, so, why, on earth, are we allowing the watering down of God’s laws to happen? I guess we are no different that a plant that gets too much water and withers away.

Let me close in saying, As for me and my house we will serve the Lord—I do hope each of you will do the same for their may come a day in your country that you may be asked who you serve.
